Sony Ericsson K790i Sony Ericsson K790i is a 2006 model mobile phone. InfoSync reviews the Sony Ericsson K790i and writes, “Like its bigger (and faster) 3G brother, the K800, the EDGE-enabled K790 lets you create and post images to blogs created on Blogger.com; while we couldn’t test the actual blog functionality on the show floor, we saw the familiar “Blog this” option in the camera drop-down menu. Also impressive was the 3.2-megapixel camera’s BestPic feature, which takes a total of nine pictures in quick succession; when reviewing your images, you nudge the joystick to switch from one image to another, the click the one you want to keep. The camera is also armed with a Xenon flash, an image stabilizer and autofocus, all the better for taking on-the-go snapshots. Finished snapping photos? The K790 also includes an on-board MP3/AAC player, Bluetooth, a Memory Stick Micro expansion slot, and PictBridge functionality.”

Phoneyworld.com reviews the Sony Ericsson K790i and writes, “It often also happens that in the heat of the moment, you forget to press the button at the exact isntance. Sony Ericsson now offers an easy way out of this problem - Bestpic. Press the shutter button once and get 9 full quality 3.2 megapixel pictures to choose from in a time sequence – 4 pictures before and 4 pictures after the actual image you captured. Full HTML browsing with RSS feeds and Google Search give you high-speed, graphic-rich Internet use. Support for standard push email and a connectivity suite comprising Bluetooth 2.0, USB 2.0 and Memory Stick Micro (M2) means that keeping in touch is effortless. A complete entertainment package including music player (support for multiple file formats is included - MP3, AAC, AAC+, eAAC+), 3D gaming and an RDS FM radio are also provided for business downtime or relaxation.”

TechTree reviews the Sony Ericsson K790i and has this to say about camera, “The K790i has one of the most brilliant cameras that can be found in a phone currently. The camera is Cybershot-branded and lives up to it. The camera lens is neatly covered with a slider; previously in K750i, the camera-cover would slide UP/DOWN to reveal the lens or to protect it. This time the cover slides Left/Right preventing the camera lens from opening while sliding the phone into your pocket or while getting it out… Behind the cover is a 3.2 megapixel camera with Auto-focus and a Xenon flash above the camera to assist excellent photography. The Xenon flash is really powerful; it can make a dark room look like it’s brightly lit-up; so much so, it will blind you for a couple of seconds. Images captured are of 2048×1536 pixels in resolution. It also has 16X Digital Zoom; but the image just gets bloated if you push it too far. The phone has two buttons above the screen which are solely for camera purposes and to view the pictures. These two buttons give a host of modes and options to capture the best image automatically as well as manually. ”

A built-in xenon flash feature gives you real photographic light where lighting conditions are not optimal. The K790i also eliminates red eye, making sure that the pictures you take are simply the best. A camera stabilizer function compensates any small movement of your hand when you’re taking a picture and shooting video.

Expansys writes about Sony Ericsson K790i, “With proven EDGE technology built-in, mobile Web browsing, photo blogging, downloading of multimedia content and video calling become a pleasant experience. Visit real Internet sites with the Access NetFront™ browser and subscribe to automatic news updates with RSS Feeds. Multitask with K790i. Be engaged in a call or listen to the music player or FM radio while you search for information on the Web.”

Yeah nice cam but other details r also 2 be taken care of keypad is a stiff one using its joystic used it for the 1st day and there was blister no my thumb the next day. Manual provided with the box is insufficient 2 guide the users who want to access the net facilities on their phones. What a strap provided with it its nice genuine leather its so big and unattractive but i’ve found a use 4 that as a chain strap for my puppy. What can i say about the sounds nice with the headset but not speakers.
