Sony Ericsson K300i is a 2005 model mobile phone. CNET reviews the Sony Ericsson K300i and writes about multimedia features, “We also find a voice recorder, a media player that supports MP3, MIDI, WAV and 3GP files, a ring tone creation application called MusicDJ and a download music service PlayNow. MusicDJ allows you to compose a melody by laying out pre-recorded samples across four tracks: drum, bass, keyboard and brass. These can be saved to use as ring tones, alarms or sent to a friend. PlayNow is a Sony Ericsson content service which has a distinct Australian Idol flavour, with tracks by Shannon Noll, Guy Sebastian and Anthony Callea available for download at AU$6.60 per song.”
Expansys reviews the Sony Ericsson K300i and writes, “Email, picture and text messaging – wherever you are, you can read and send email. Take a picture or shoot some video. Send it to any email address in the world and give a real feel of where you are. The K300i has entertainment for everybody. Download and enjoy sport and movie-trailer video clips. Use an original artist Music tone as your unique mobile phone sound. A simple function lets you switch to video mode when you need to capture some action.”
iMobile reviews the Sony Ericsson K300i and writes about physical aspects, “The K300i is a small sized handset, but not too miniscule that you’re going to lose it at any time. Measuring only 99.9 x 45.2 x 19.4 mm and weighing 85 grams, this model isn’t a beast. You can easily fit it into your pants pocket or jacket pocket. The size of the K300i doesn’t mean that the buttons are going to be too small to even press, they’re quite large and long so even larger fingers can get to them. The navigational stick could have been pushed out of the handset a little further, but my rant about that is found in the Problems and Issues section. ”
T3 reviews the Sony Ericsson K300i and has this to say about camera, “The VGA camera with 4x digital zoom is designed to be used with the phone on its side, which enables you to take a snap by pressing a button on the top, just as you would with a real camera. The quality isn’t bad, considering this is supposed to be a cheap phone, and the 12MB memory can store up to 120 ten-second video clips or 500 snaps.”
Mobile Phone UK reviews the Sony Ericsson and writes, “The Sony Ericsson K300i offers the functionality of the K500i at a lower price, pushing Sony Ericsson’s hugely successful “K” range down to the top of the budget camera phone class. The K300i has virtually the same features as the K500i”
