The Samsung U100 ia a 2007 model mobile phone. Mobile-Review reviews the Samsung U100 and writes about display, “The display works in landscape mode, similarly the Samsung X820. This screen type is typical for the previous generation handsets by Samsung, but not for a new offering. It has 220×176 pixel resolution (38×30 mm, 2 inches). There can be up to 5 text lines placed on the display and up to three lines for service needs. The display itself is almost identical to that found in the X820 quality-wise, only the size is a little bit larger – it is 2mm taller and 2mm wider. Texts are pretty much comfortable to read in landscape orientation. This display is capable of showing up to 262 K colors, the picture looks vibrant and is very legible in different environments, including bright sunlight. The only shortcoming is the glossy glass protecting the screen which is a fingerprints magnet, exposing all smudges while in the sun.”
Conita reviews the Samsung U100 and writes about this model, “The Samsung U100 is even Bluetooth compatible so that you can use it with any of your favorite products. From Bluetooth technology, you can have the phone connect up to several hundred feet away, all while talking to your friends or family on your Bluetooth connected headset. If you prefer, however, you can communicate with your family and friends in any of the 4 message formats. The Samsung U100 automatically will handle text messaging, multimedia messaging, enhanced messaging, as well as emails that you can use. Access the internet with the Samsung U100 while looking at the 1.9 inch screen that’s capable of 262k colours”.
Mobile Phones UK reviews the Samsung U100 and notes, “The first thing that you notice once you’ve got over just how thin and lightweight it is, is the neatness of the design. The keypad is small, but easy to use and the phone is very ergonomic. However, if you’ve got large hands you might find it just a bit too small for comfort. The LCD display is a bright TFT display, the same as used on the X820. It isn’t the biggest screen around, for obvious reasons in a phone this compact, but it’s perfect for the size of the phone. Samsung’s new black & white user interface is easy to use and very smart in appearance. If you’re just using the phone for talking and texting, you’ll find it very easy to use.”
Buzzle reviews the Samsung U100 and writes, “If you think the camera and display are generous features in this tiny phone, then you’ll be equally delighted with the audio side of the Samsung U100. Usually, mobile phones this size can lose out on some of the more popular features, but not this little beauty. Not only does the phone support the usual suspects such as MP3 and polyphonic ringtones, it also allows the newer MP4 and H263 media software, for even better performance.”
