Nokia 6270 Review

Nokia 6270Nokia 6270 was introduced in 2005 Q2. Jon reviews the Nokia 6270 and writes about music”As far as music goes on the 6270, I would say it that this phone qualifies as a great way to listen to your favorite tunes. On the exterior of the phone there are two speakers to give you stereo sound. I was skeptical of the external speakers at first but after taking a listen to a few songs I quickly change my mind. Although the speakers don’t offer much in the way of bass(what do you expect?, they are tiny) they do offer some pretty incredible stereo seperation for being so close together. When you plug the headphones into the pop port you get sound that I feel is very comparable or better than the iPod. Plenty of volume is cranked out through the headphones and there is an Equalizer to fine tune the sound to your liking.”

Mobique reviews the Nokia 6270 and writes about problems and issues with this model, ” What were the designers thinking when they created the sliding mechanism for these two phones? It seems to me like they just whipped up something that simply worked (in other words, one that slides up and down), and disregarding any need for it to feel secure, solid and stiff enough when used under pressure.

I don’t usually repeat myself about something – but in this particular case, I can’t stress enough the fact that a big phone maker like Nokia had allowed for such a situation to materialise. My faith towards the Finnish phone maker’s products had diminishing ever so slowly over the past couple of years – and the appearance of both the 6270 and 6280 was a clear sign that I shouldn’t waste any more of my time hoping for a positive turnaround!”

InfoSync reviews the Nokia 6270 and writes, “As for phone-centric features, the Nokia 6270 operates on GSM 850/900/1800/1900 MHz networks, and offers up EDGE and GPRS for high-speed data transfers. Furthermore, we find an FM radio, a WAP 2.0 browser, two included games in 3D Snake and Golf Tour, as well as operator-dependent features such as Push-To-Talk and Visual Radio. The 6270 also supports MP3 and polyphonic ringtones, SMS and MMS messages, in addition to sporting Bluetooth 2.0, Infrared and USB via Pop Port as connectivity options. ”

Cellphones reviews the Nokia 6270 and reports about talk time “A talk time of 300 minutes. It is way above average! ”

Mobile-Review reviews the Nokia 6270 and writes, “This model has a great advantage - its perfect screen, which is one of the best in this class, and that is much due to its physical size. Another plus is good sounding. But the camera disappointed completely, it loses to Samsung D600 and Sony Ericsson K750i in shooting mode, and provides with the minimal settings. If not specially limited in photo capabilities, this handset could compete with Nokia N90. And by the way they have similar size. Only QCIF resolution for video seems outdated.”
