Nokia 6111 was introduced in late 2005. Mobile-Review reviews the Nokia 6111 and writes, “The display of this model features 128 х 160 pixels resolution (TFT), which is very little for a product of this level nowadays. At the same time, Siemens SL75, for example, has the similar resolution of the screen. The 262000 color display provides bright and vivid picture, though it’s inferior in this characteristic to the Korean manufacturers. However it’s worth a note that the display itself is well-made with no issues discovered. The screen can show up to 6 lines of text lines and 3 service ones, font size is rather large and easily read. The screen fades in the sun, but font size makes all the difference here and you can still comfortably use the device.”
InfoSync writes, “The Nokia 6111 offers a long-awaited improvement of Nokia’s user interface, as well as a well-performing Megapixel camera and EDGE support for high speed data transfers - all in a slightly chubby yet unmistakably small slider form factor. Unfortunately, the handset’s display and battery life follow said form factor in not being state of the art - still, the Nokia 6111 should be considered a good buy for people looking for a stable and small mid-range handset.”
SlashPhone reviews the Nokia 6111 and writes about camera, “Its mega-pixel flash camera comes with 6x zoom and a special sideways snap button. You can hold your phone like a traditional camera, a posture great for taking landscape pictures. The new full-screen landscape mode also lends an extra touch of versatility. Self potrait mirror will allow you to position yourself when you take a photo of yourself. The picture quality is nothing to shout about though. The photos we took appear slightly washed out but some may like the accidental dreamy effect.”
