Nokia 6030 was introduced in Q1 2006. Mobiledia reviews Nokia 6030 and writes, “With alarm and calendar functions, the 6030 phone ensures important dates are not forgotten. And the built-in FM radio helps to fill the downtime, while personalized wallpapers and ring tones give each phone an individual touch”.
dooyoo reviews the Nokia 6030 and writes about screen, “4 years ago 128×128 CSTN screen was new and good feature, but now it makes smile in my face. Screen is not bad, but he is morality old, of course Nokia 6030 can display 65k colors, but even that not helps, knowing that this is low class phone I expected that at least screen will be newer… Certainly this screen is good to show txt, menu, phone haven’t got integrated camera, so hoping that you will not see photos in this screen, you can close your eyes and accept that this screen is right for this mobile phone model.”
PCmag reviews the Nokia 6030 and writes about voice quality, “The main reason you’d buy a phone like this is its voice quality—which, we’re pleased to report, is terrific. We heard some background hiss, but voices were loud, clear, and sharp, and the surprisingly muscular speakerphone was usable indoors and out. Transmission quality when using the microphone was razor-sharp but sounded a bit muddy through the speakerphone.”
GSMarena writes about keypad , “The numeric keypad is relatively good. It allows for comfortable writing, with all keys being effortlessly reached by one’s thumb. When pressed, instead of sharp clicks it gives out pleasant muffle sound. Although the backlighting of the keypad is even, it is relatively weak. Some residual backlighting works under the confirming joystick, too, and helps you take bearings in the dark”.
CNET reviews the Nokia 6030 and writes, “In terms of features, the 6030 is very similar to the Nokia 3100, which was also designed as a basic, functional phone with minimal features. The only connectivity options available are GPRS and WAP. Even that is limited to GPRS Class 6 and WAP 2.0. The absence of all other connectivity options means you must purchase the data cable to connect the phone to a computer or to another device.”
