Nokia 3300Nokia 3300 was introduced in Q3 2003. InfoSync reviews the Nokia 3300 and writes about audio, “Audio is as previously mentioned the main focus of the Nokia 3300, however, and it packs quite a few features to make this a more-than-average experience. First off, the phone itself offers a quite good stereo FM radio, while the MP3 player itself delivers excellent performance. As could be expected from a phone, overall control and functionality is limited, but the 3300 gets the job done - and there’s more. Equipped with a 2.5 mm line in jack, the 3300 is capable of recording audio not only from an external source, but also from its own internal FM radio in ATRAC3 format - potentially scaring the bejeesus out of record companies. Handily, a short 2.5 mm to 3.5 mm converter is included, and the button for initiating recording is conveniently placed to the lower left of the 3300’s display. ”

OSnews reviews the Nokia 3300 and writes, “This phone has a few problems. The biggest problem for me was the lack of “local” communications: no IrDA, no Bluetooth. It gets worse: the phone is not supported by Nokia’s own phone application (the Oxygen manager requires you buy an f-bus convertor cable to support the phone, apparently). There is only an “audio manager” app available, which is kind of useless as the phone is already mounted as a USB storage device anyway and so uploading music files is as simple as drag-and-drop.”

Mobile-Review reviews the Nokia 3300 and writes, “Although the phone has not ordinary shape, you can hold it with one hand easily. It’s difficult to input text messages, the keyboard is not too comfortable, and as a whole you need time to get used to all control keys. Concerning reception quality, Nokia 3300 is a typical representative of Nokia phones; there are no problems with communication. You can speak not using handsfree either. Data adapter, included in the standard delivery kit, can’t be used as a cable to transfer data, so, it is not possible to use the handset as a GPRS modem.”
