Motorola V300 Review

November 24th, 2006 · No Comments

Motorola V300The Motorola V300 was introduced in 2003 Q3. Mobile-Review reviews the Motorola V300 and writes, “Motorola V300 has no problems with reception quality, it’s a typical re representative of Motorola’s family, the phone is comparable with any of rival devices. Vibration alert is average by force, ring tone volume is above average. On the whole, the device is typical, no problems and no extraordinary progress.”

Cell Phones writes guide review, “The Motorola v300 weighs only 4.3 oz, which is not super-light but is relatively lighter than average. It is supercharged with a good quality built-in speakerphone and a camera (640 x 480 pixels). The battery life was fair and the manufacturer promises a maximum rated standby time of 200 hours and a talk time of 390 minutes, which is slightly above average. The color display was excellent with 65,000 colors and a resolution of 176 x 220 pixels. Can’t complain either about the phone book with a whopping 1000 entries and the voice note system was a breeze to use. Ringtone and graphics customization is great with a Melody Composer and the possibility to download by wireless internet for free. The Motorola V300 even allows for MP3 ringtones but I didn’t have time to test that feature. The construction of the Motorola V300 is also stronger than recent Motorola phones such as the T720 and C330 series.”

PCmag reviews the Motorola V300 and reports about problems with e-mail, “Unfortunately, you can’t set the phone to collect POP3 e-mail directly. To access POP3 mail or your corporate mail, you need t-zones Pro (unlimited usage, $9.99 a month). You can set up this service to collect from different POP3 accounts and even your Exchange or Notes mail.”

CNET reviews the Motorola V300 and writes about camera, “The V300’s integrated VGA camera operates with as few as two clicks. When taking photos, you can choose between three picture resolutions (160×120, 320×240, and 640×480), five lighting tones, five exposure settings, and six shutter sounds, including a silent option. The camera also has a self-timer and a 4X zoom. You can store images on the phone’s 5MB of shared memory. A convenient meter in the Photo Viewfinder mode displays free memory. We sent photos and voice recordings via MMS and rarely encountered a problem. “
