Motorola L9Motorola SLVR L9 is a 2007 model mobile phone. MobileBurn writes about Motorola L9 and notes, “The MOTOSLVR L9 is the only handset that Motorola announced today that does not support HSDPA high-speed data, with GPRS/EDGE having to suffice. The on board 2.0 megapixel camera utilizes the 20MB internal memory and microSD memory expansion for storage. Music is taken care of with a player compatible with MP3, AAC, e-AAC, and e-AAC+ music and an FM radio, with an airplane mode to enable you to listen to your tunes in places where phone use is prohibited. Bluetooth 2.0 with support for stereo headphones using A2DP is included, with a miniUSB port available for wired data transfer. Included in the box is a battery capable of up to 6.6 hours of talk time or 14.5 days standby.”

Mobile-Review reviews the Motorola L9 and wrtes about battery, “Removing the back cover reveals a 880 mAh Li-Ion battery (BK60). As the manufacturer claims, it can put up 350 hours of lifetime in standby mode and provide up to 6.5 hours of talk time. In conditions of Moscow networks the charge on the battery lasted for 4 days at one hour of calls and up to 45 minutes of other functions. But you are more likely to end up with 2-3 days of stable operation on a single charge. It takes the SLVR L9 a bit more than 2 hours to charge from empty to full. Should you be heavy on its music capabilities, the lifetime will fall down dramatically to 1 day (4-6 hours of music playback, up to 1 hour of calls).”

mobile88.com writes about Motorola SLVR L9, “Complete with GRPS class 10 and EDGE class 10 technologies for progressive downloads and video streaming, you can quickly update the integrated digital audio player and download MP3/AAC ringtones quickly.³ Before taking off on a flight, the MOTOSLVR L9 is capable of being filled up to 2GB of videos, pictures and music on your optional external microSD card. Turn on the airplane mode and enjoy uninterrupted entertainment for the entire duration of your trip. Not only does this sleek, yet durable mobile fit perfectly in your hand, it also boasts up to approximately 400 minutes of talk time and 350 hours of standby time.4 The MOTOSLVR L9 is built to keep up with you day in and day out.”

GSMarena reviews the Motorola L9 and writes, “When you take the battery cover off, you can see the Motorola BK 60 880 mAh Li-Ion battery. The manufacturer promises that this battery will provide about 350 hours of stand-by time and up to 4 hours of talk time. Whether this is true or not, we could not find out in our tests as we did not use the phone in ordinary daily fashion. Underneath the battery is the SIM card bed. The card is easily inserted and taken out, so there are no problems here. A good thing about Motorola L9 is that it supports the new MegaSIM technology which means that it allows for special SIM cards having up to 1GB of memory.”

I have been using Motorola L9 for past 3-4 months.According to me this phone has a good look n a protective back flap prevents the back from scratches. but the front portion is too prone to scratches even if used to atmost caution. i had been using nokia before this n this is my first motorola handset. I found that deleting multiple messages n keeping multiple phone no.s is a bit tedious job in this. moreover when i am talking on the phone the voice quality depends too much on how u hold the phone.otherwise its a good cell. Terrific camera.Fm is a bit of a problem.
