HomeRun is a highly addictive card solitaire - played with a standard pack of 52 playing cards and up to 4 Jokers - that combines luck with skill providing endless hours of fun and entertainment.

HomeRun is ZingMagic\’s own version of the classic Golf card solitaire. It first became popular when shipped as standard on the Psion Series 3 range of computers and is currently enjoying considerable favour as the card solitaire of choice being shipped as standard on the SonyEricsson P800 and P900 ranges of phones.

At the start of the game the first thirty-five cards are dealt face upwards into seven ranks of five cards. The objective of the game is to remove all thirty-five cards onto the layout card, earning as many bonus points as possible in the process. If you manage to remove all thirty-five cards you receive bonus points and the game
continues with the pack being re-dealt with one less Joker.

The ultimate aim of this game is to achieve the highest number of points possible and take your place in the \”High score Hall of Fame\”.

GridRunner++

Gridrunner++ is a new \’retro\’ style shooter game programmed by the talented Jeff \’Yak\’ Minter of Llamasoft, world famous for his work on the Atari and Commodore computers and game consoles - among others. Gridrunner++ is an overhead shooter which is somewhat reminiscent of the classic game Centipede in play — but with much better graphics and effects, cool weapons, and much faster action. The game uses a number of particle systems, loads of color cycling, and tons of interesting graphical effects to create a truly unique look and feel. Enemies come at you from all sides, shooting at you from all directions. Blasting an enemy leaves a pod which will explode into deadly lasers if not destroyed in time. There is also a zapper that zooms around the playfield with its own deadly beams (as seen in the 3rd screenshot below), while collecting \’Sheepies\’ will power-up your ship with a nice set of forward and rear lasers. Experienced players will find these \’Sheepies\’ will come in handy quite often, as falling back on these power-ups will restore you back to life should you die above one. These and other techniques provide quite a bit of gameplay depth to this great game. Originally designed for the PocketPC handheld computer, the finished version is now available for Windows PCs.

Magi-Merge

Magi-Merge is a simple yet highly addictive board game. Simply remove all the pieces from the board, scoring points on route.

At the start of a new game pieces are positioned at random on the board. Pieces of the same type are connected together.

Each turn consists of selecting a connected group of pieces to be removed from the board. Removing a group of pieces allows those pieces higher up the board to fall, creating a different set of connected pieces. Play continues until there are no more connected pieces or all pieces are removed from the board.

Points are scored when you remove pieces from the board. The higher the number of pieces you remove in any one turn the higher the number of bonus points you will score.

RocketBoy continues the line of OneThumb games that OrangePixel started with their casual game Toddlers. In RocketBoy the limits of OneThumb/OneTouch gaming are slightly extended with a more action packed game, however the easy OneThumb controlls and gameplay remain.

Amusement Blocks

Shapes made up of four blocks appear one after the other and sink to the bottom of a pit. The player has to keep the pit clear by moving and rotating the shapes. Every time a line of bricks is completed, the line disappears and all the bricks above it fall down. The game gets a little quicker and more difficult and ends once the pit gets too full for the next shape to fit into. During the whole game, players are shown a `forecast` in the top right-hand corner, letting them know which bricks will be next to fall.
