Speaker’s volume and microphone’s sensitivity are enough for most situations. Lack of volume control buttons is rather disappointing. Volume can be adjusted by using navigation keys. Handset is powered with 16-tone polyphonic ring tones, there are 20 preinstalled melodies, but their quality is poor. Vibrating alert power is weak, you won’t feel it most of the times.”

The fact that a now mandatory camera is missing from the phone may surprise some folks, but Alcatel are not worried since this omitted feature has made the phone more affordable. The phone however does boast a vibrant color display which has a resolution of 102 x 80 pixels and includes 16-tone polyphonic ringtones. This new dual band phone is pretty simple when it comes to features and doesn’t have multimedia features like music player, video recording or a camera.”
